@thedogsneedourhelp: 🥹 This little girl is trying so hard to be brave. This absolutely precious Blue Heeler mix puppy was dumped on someone’s property and never reclaimed. The shelter estimates she’s around 7 months old, but she honestly looks closer to 4–5 months. When my friend Kelley visited a couple of days ago, this sweet girl wanted so badly to come say hello, but she was so scared. She paced back and forth, like she was hesitating and working up the courage to walk to the front of her kennel in the middle of all the nonstop barking. I don’t blame her one bit. Her shelter notes mention she was part of a litter, but I don’t know where her siblings are or if they’ll ever make it to the adoption floor. She’s just a baby who needs someone patient enough to help her build confidence and show her that the world isn’t such a scary place. Heelers are incredibly smart, loyal dogs who thrive with training, exercise, and being part of the family. She deserves a soft bed inside the house, not a lifetime outside as a yard ornament. Her stray hold ends Tuesday, 8/4. I know no one is coming to reclaim her. Please help us find this adorable little girl a patient adopter or foster, so a rescue can save her life. ——— Kennel 28 | #D26951 • ~7 months (I think younger), Intact Female (for now), Blue Heeler mix • Stray 7/31, available 8/4 📍Greenville Animal Control Shelter 5800 Joe Ramsey Blvd, Greenville, TX 🕘 9 AM–5 PM daily ☎️ 903 457 2990 📧 Rescue Tags: [email protected] 💲Adoption: 107 Includes 1/3 round of shots, mandatory spay, microchip, and rabies.
