@travellingwithdora: On our last day in Croatia we had no plans and stumbled upon this hidden beach in 📍LUKOVO. I have not seen this beach recommended anywhere online and we found it by simply clicking random beaches on Google Maps. It ended up being one of my favourite beaches in Croatia. The water was warm and clear and the bay was so calm. There were a lot of people stand up paddle boarding and lots of families. There was also a lovely seaside restaurant selling delicious seafood with an amazing view. The beach was not over populated and it seemed like a beach that mainly locals go to. I don’t think sharing Lukovo beach here will spoil it for the locals though because it is very hard to get to and out of the way. It is only accessible by car and about 2.5 hours drive north of Zadar and 1 hour from Pag which is where tourists normally go. So while it is beautiful and I am so glad we found this hidden beach to end our trip in Croatia and I was a bit hesitant in sharing it in case it ruins it for locals, I don’t think it will happen just due to its location and proximity to other more popular beaches with more amenities.
