In Peru we used to get jackets when graduating with signatures from all students. It was an opportunity to immortalize your “uniqueness” with a fun design of your name/ or what they call you. My friend has a kid who is that age now. Everyone in his class used ai to generate random designs to out in their jackets … 😭 just sad

so many people (teachers and curriculum people) are creating AI slop for lessons. some things (tiered readings, translations) can be good, but a lot of total shit unless heavily edited, but some people are too busy to do that now. the children are using it wildly, and it's bad. many of them trust AI implicitly and don't question what they read, get, or ask it.
