Eddie🌈♾️(Takara's version) :
hey, I cried so hard after reading this, because my experience has been the exact same. Recently, my mother realised (by herself) that I am trans, we didn't speak it throughly because I know that she doesn't like it, even though she hasn't said anything bad about it, I know that she is dissapointed. I thought I didn't care, but there's a reason behind why I haven't told her myself even after years of coming out to other people, not that she would get mad, she always gets mad, but the dissapointed, the loud sigh while holding her head and not wanting to talk about it, I realised through this video, that I do care, that it hurts, it hurts knowing I will never be more than a woman to her eyes, no more that a little rebel, at my nineteen years, a little rebel.
I've been through this same situation with close friends, and my siblings, I tried to explain the pain, the sadness, they say they understand, but stop caring in a week. I don't want to explain who I am, I just want to be, I don't understand why I have to follow what they want me to be, and stand it when they get mad if I don't. I hate it, I know who I am, but I hate the perception people have over me, the gender roles that came with my breasts, the lingering pain everytime someone says my deadname, and more than anything, I hate that the love that my own family has towards me It's not strong enough to respect me, I hate it.
I honestly wish that both you and I, and every other person living this, may one day find peace and be around people who love them enough to respect them.
