We had non covid patients in beds in the conference rooms and hallways because most floors were full of covid patients.

Are people trying to pretend that it wasn’t bad now? My dad worked the boiler room in our local hospital. He was the guy that would turn on the reverse air flow setup for rooms with an infection. He also walked in through a private back entrance every day. He would tell us about the morgue trucks parked out back that nobody saw. When it got real bad, he said there were two. TWO giant tractor trailer refrigerator units for the express purpose of holding dead bodies and keeping them cold. When in history have we ever needed that? Never! I refuse to be gaslit. It WAS that bad.

We had calls of code blue to ICU overhead, all night, night after night. ED filled with patients holding for an ICU bed and the waiting rooms full. It was a scary time.

I had two uncles die alone in a nursing home - no visitors allowed. It was very real and healthcare staff worked overtime to do their best. They are hero's...so quickly we forget the facts. Facui was probably the best man for the job and we'd be lucky to ever get someone of similar caliber when it happens again. (And it will)

The balls if RFK jr to say ICU beds were empty all over the country?! I lost my mind when he said that!! My god there were refrigerated trucks filled up in the lot near ER!! God dam him!!🤬🤬🤬

at our university hospital, even some resident on-call rooms were converted to COVID patient rooms because we had no room. I have never seen a semi-trailer parked behind the hospital for the dead beforehand! It was a nightmare!!

Zero empty beds. Units that had been closed held patients. They set up a makeshift hospital for the less critical. Kennedy cannot articulate a plan for future events and should resign. He is a disgrace.

My daughter dislocated her knee during delta. We were taken into the er via ambulance. The waiting room was overflowing outside. All covid. Easily 200 people. The doctor came up and literally started to cry and said “oh thank God, a patient I can help” I will never forget that.

The icus were so full the nurses were able to make dancing tik toks videos. At no point during Covid did they tell people to exercise, take vitamin d, eat healthy, but they did shut down gyms, beaches, parks, playground. And this didn’t justify masking toddlers.
