My daughter made the same choice, knew she couldn’t sit at a desk all day for a career and wanted to work with her hands. She ended up taking a short night certification Welding class, got a job welding with Stephan Green Trailers in Farmingdale NJ for a short stint til getting into a Union. She works very hard, is debt free, living home for now, saving money to buy a house in NJ. She loves our state ❤️I am also a super proud mother.

That’s great!!! We need trade people!!! My younger daughter choose to do trade school. She is dyslexic & in high school she did a half day program and became an esthetician. She worked & went back to school & became a cosmetologist… she is a hairstylist & makeup artist… makes a great salary, has saved money… bought her own car, etc….

Teacher in NJ. Please do a video about Helmets to Hard Hats. My son came out of the Marines and told me he would not sit behind a desk. Helmets to Hard hats helped him with all of the NJ construction Unions. He is now a Union Pipefitter And 10 years later is telling me how he plans to retire before Social Security eligibility. He has a home, takes vacations, and has a great life and a great Girlfriend that I am frustrated that he has not asked her to Marry him yet. 😃.
