I'm not sure what churches you've called im not from your area but usually catholic churches are the ones that might be able to help atleast put him in a motel for a few days.He needs to go to social services and apply for emergency housing they should put him in a motel and than give him assistance finding permanent housing depending on his income.I think you should make a go fund me and keep posting on your page even if it gives him a few days in a motel it's worth it.Hes too old to be in this heat.

I work in social services, and I can tell you this has been ongoing. I had 3 seniors today. Homeless! We have a mental wellness room at my job. We utilize it often. I cry! Especially those that have their fur babies with them.

Don't stop you go fund me at 6500. Keep it going and try to raise enough to buy the property. Even if he has to put a tent temporarily at least it's his. Then we can work on getting a camper. Maybe the property owners would come down a little on the price if you explain the circumstances. I will start looking for a used camper just in case. Also, what is the name of the local paper in your area?. Maybe it's time to send them thecstory??

He needs someone willing to turn a shed into an ADU on their property. Preferably built to accommodate a wheelchair so he has a place to land indefinitely. Sounds like he has an income and could pay some rent to whoever is willing to have the ADU on their property

You may have to make calls for him. He may not know which number to call or what to ask. He may need a ride to an appointment and you as an advocate.ty for helping him.
