I was in the glasses store waiting for an appointment and an older man came in with a cane. When he approached the check in counter his cane fell onto the floor. there were so many people standing within a couple feet of him including the people at the desk and nobody moved. My son was with me, I left him in the chair and went about 20 feet and got his cane for him, he thanked me and I went back to the chair. I gave the RBF to the 5 people 5 feet away who could have offered the same gesture. We as people need to normalize this kind of behavior. When I grew up that was what my parents would have done, I'm 42 and of a dying breed. I did it to help him and it sets a good example for our children. The man joined us on the far side of the room and we shared converstion and, we both survived the waiting room without a screen to look down at. It is nice to greet a stranger and help those in need.

You are an incredible young man. I have a genuine question…in South Africa if someone even offers to push a trolly or guide me out of the parking, it’s an unspoken rule to tip them. Many do not, but it’s considered rude & unpolit. I have watched a few of your videos and nobody does?? Why?
