@king_mubarik7: Allah repeatedly pairs His command to worship Him alone with the command to be dutiful to our parents because, after Allah, no one has done more for us than they have. They were the means Allah chose to bring us into this world, sacrificing their time, comfort, and strength for our upbringing. Honoring them is a sign of gratitude to Allah and one of the greatest acts of worship. May Allah make us among those who honor our parents and earn His pleasure through serving them. ﴿وَقَضَىٰ رَبُّكَ أَلَّا تَعْبُدُوا إِلَّا إِيَّاهُ وَبِالْوَالِدَيْنِ إِحْسَانًا﴾ “Your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him, and that you show excellence to your parents.” (Qur’an 17:23) #quran #parents
