As a Houston Texan that just got back from Phoenix Arizona (115 degree heat) I think I prefer Arizona dry heat more than coastal Texas

I love this! Texas heat. What Texas heat? South Texas, middle land, North, west, what Texas are you enduring right now? Because depending on the GPS coordinates & time of yr, its a whole different experience.

I'm a Texan and theres no other heat like the muggy heat of the south. Texas and Louisiana is pretty bad. Its like breathing through a hot, wet towel. It will make your ass cheeks sweat! That's what sweet tea is for, water parks, Galveston, floating the river, boating on the lakes, air conditioning and ice in every drink is critical to living here.

The humidity is terrible and I prefer a dry heat, though I also live in Texas, and it can be unbearable, but I think technically the hottest part of America is Death Valley, which is California. The hottest place in the world. And the highest temperature was like 135° or something. I’m wondering if that would be worse with humidity since that’s a desert climate.
