Not sure if it is what you are looking for, but I think Emgality, is approved for cluster headaches. It’s an injection, and I was looking into it for my chronic migraines. I looked into it and also can be used for cluster headaches!

Go to a pain management dr. I was suffering with minimal help from my pc. The pain management drs are able to give you the medication you need easier than a reg dr.

Are you eligible for Botox treatment? I have extreme migraines that put me in the hospital for months, so I was given Botox to help treat them. It gave me back my life. Between that and the triptans I take it’s become manageable. I’m sending love your way, I hope you feel better! 💐

Girl just take that pain pill, you need it. Also, 20 for a year is not enough for migraine/cluster pain. Ask the dr for more. Sometimes it’s the only thing that relieves it. Also, a steaming hot shower helps me tremendously. Just stand under the hot water. Hope you feel better soon girly.

My mom has been diagnosed with cluster headaches. They’re bad. They don’t call them suicide headaches for nothing. Took a really long time to find something that worked. She was prescribed Emgality and pure oxygen therapy and it works. Pain meds do not work for clusters. The oxygen works wonders. Look into it. ❤️

Oxygen helps a lot for cluster headaches. Sumitriptan can also help too… they have it as a nasal spray as well as pill form. My dad is in a cluster headache cycle right now too… it’s awful.

I know you’re in pain and I’m sorry. Sometimes when I feel a migraine coming on I do the salty fries & icy Diet Coke from Mc’D’s with an excedrine pill and it wards it off. Only works at the onset.

I’m so sorry, those are terrible. I’ve had them now for weeks. I’ve tried so many meds. Nothing seems to work great. Have you tried fioricet?? I get a little relief from that but only for short periods of time. You’re not alone, they are awful 😞 I really hope you feel better soon 💖

I get cluster headaches. its brutal im sorry friend. something that worked for me in hospital after nsids ,oxy ,u name. they will give me dexamethazone. it was a last resort. so now I keep some at home just incase. p.s im sorry that pain management has become such a nightmare in the u.s get well soon.
