this is why i went into peds. these kids go through some pretty tough stuff but the overall vibe is so positive and for the most part, everyone wants to get better ( which i don't think is always the case in adult medicine)

I used the voice memos app on my phone during third year rotations to reflect and treated it kind of like an audio journal! It’s so fun to listen back to them a year later 🥰

I worked with a lot of pediatricians at my last job and a huge part for choosing it was just simply the outcomes are so much better for kids in some scenarios vs adults. Like they are just able to bounce back in such insane ways. Definitely something to consider!!

omg me too, I did my paeds and psych rotations this year and absolutely loved both for different reasons!! It’s gonna be so hard to pick and fortunately we specialise after 2 foundation (intern) years in the UK 💕
