she wants to express herself. temporary hair dye is so non-serious. it will fade in 2 months max. my daughter asked at age 4 and we did dye that lasted 2 weeks… her hair is perfectly fine. letting her express herself was so worth it 🤷🏻♀️

my personal parenting is I'm letting them express themselves in age appropriate ways. if she's not comfortable letting her kid dye her hair, that's her choice. she's giving her an alternative to it and still allowing expression. get off her caseeeee.

As someone who dyes their hair almost weekly, don’t let your child dye their hair until 13. It can get pretty addictive and damages the hair and scalp if you use bleach. It can also be pretty high maintenance and very expensive.

When I was a kid, these were called “hot hues” or however you spelled it. They pulled hair and didn’t even last a whole day. Just let kids dye their hair. Hair dye isn’t permanent and will make them 10x happier

Get her semi permanent hair dye, it comes out easy with color remover and you won’t have to bleach her hair. I’ve been dying my hair since 2nd grade and it has changed me so much, just let her dye it.
