I lost my job of 28 yrs 2 weeks ago. I came home and told my husband his response "You wanted out of there, you'd have never left on your own. This is a good thing" My ex would have FREAKED and called me nasty names. I started my new job 4 days ago.

This actually seems pretty healthy... After the initial freakout she apologized and listened, and he didn't get angry and communicated like an adult.

I got fired while pregnant. I came home terrified, based on how my ex reacted to literally anything. My husband just hugged me and told me there were some opportunities at work he’d been interested in but originally wasn’t going to pursue because his hours would change and conflict with our previous child care plan. He almost immediately got one of those promotions, doubled his salary, and told me not to stress about going back to work until I found a job I enjoyed more than it made me miserable.

My hubs lost his job a few years ago. He was so upset and depressed, thought I was going to hate him, etc, and I was like no, this isn't the end of the world, this is why I have my own career, so we are not screwed when things like this happen. Filed the paperwork to get us on my company's insurance, recalculated the budget, cut back on all non-essentials for a few months. He got a new, better paying job that was a better fit in about a month. ❤️

my wife got a call from a recruiter 2 days later her new manager put her on a pip. perfect timing lol. she never would have left on her own shes a loyal lady.

After almost 7 years of breaking down and crying over a job. I called my husband on one of my lunches and was sobbing to him. He told me to quit the job for my mental health and he would be supportive. Almost a year after quitting and now in therapy. He still loves, supports, and never regrets me quitting. Couldn't have asked for a better man.

my ex would "talk" to me about quitting his job but it was actually a guilt trip to just say yes. In the 23 years we were married...he worked 6 1\2 of them.

My boyfriend was fired from his job 7 months ago and hasn’t really been making any sort of effort to find a new one. Meanwhile, I HUNTED for a new job before I even put my two weeks in at my soul sucking job and found one quick enough so I could put in my notice…I hate to say it but it’s driving me absolutely insane

Ex did this to me but not in the healthy way… he was out of work for 16 years…. I worked 2 & 3 jobs to support our family, he went fishing 5 days a week.

mabye I'm just looking too deep into a god Damm tik tok skit and granted I haven't seen your stuff in a while but... is this really healthy? in lot of these skits and ecspeaically this one it feels like the husband has to constantly walk on egg shells just to not upset his wife?? like I'm a very emotional person myself and probably would spiral myself a bit but this just feels idk the word I'm looking for not toxic but something else

My hubs was fired 2 months ago. Its a good thing as he hated it. I just got promoted and a substantial raise. Told him to take the time he needs. He's looking but also enjoying being a house hubby. He spent so many years being the primary bread winner, I am just happy I can take that stress away.

so far in the majority of these skits the woman is actually just incredibly toxic and the man has to do all the damage control. a healthy relationship isn't your man walking in eggshells and glueing you back together constantly.
