my dad died February. it at first didnt believe it i went to see he body for the last time and thought he was playing a sick joke. then when i glanced at him for the last time laying in that bed his eyes closed mouth closed skin as white as paper i realized that he was actually gone. the only thing thats getting me through whats happening is my promises i made him. he was not the best dad and was almost never there for me but he was there when i needed him. and we had the strongest relationship between anyone in my fam. so an answer for those that dont know. how i got over it is dont think abt what happened. Just think abt the memories you had with them , dont picture them dead picture them there still alive but un reachable.

I started a podcast called "grieve with me" - my mum, my father inlaw and my sister passed away all within one year. As muslims it's a reminder this dunya is temporary and a test. Inshallah our goal is jannah and everytime we miss them its a reminder to give sadakah for them and ourselves and do dua. May allah swt grant your grandfather jannat al firdaus and reunite you for eternity
