also it's a STOP sign, not a park and stay sign. eventually you have to stop waiving people to go in front of you AND ACTUALLY GO THRU IT YOURSELF! this happens in my area more than you'd think 🤦♀️

Like right on a red. You still have to stop at the corner first and then make the right turn when safe too. You don’t just cruise up and slow down and scoot around the corner

We had a big hurricane in Miami in 1992, it blew away all the stop signs and traffic lights and people did not know what to do, even though it is the same concept, treat it as a 4 way. My aunt got so infuriated that one day she just jumped out of her car and started directing traffic. She was over it.

Back in June we had a huge windstorm. Hurricane speed winds. Took out a lot of trees and a lot of light poles and we lost electricity to probably 2/3 of our town. Discovered real quickly at the big intersections that people don’t know how to do a four-way stop. Everybody needs to see this video.

I get a rolling stop WHEN APPROPRIATE!!! I hate LOATH when ppl don’t take their proper turn in a 4 way stop it boils my blood. Or when someone waves on someone else like dude u just fucked up the whole order.

When teaching my kids to drive I would repeatedly say- always assume nobody is going to do the right thing- I don’t care if your light just turned green and people are honking at you until you see cross traffic is stopping(ed) don’t move!

People don’t understand that when you come to a two-way stop there are rules. If someone wants to turn left opposite of you and you are going straight the car that is going straight has the right of way before the car that’s turning left. People don’t know this or remember this.

A town I live near in VA had an intersection that had blinking yellow on one set of lights and blinking red for lights on the cross street. I had never seen that in my 36 years. I had to look up what it means. The ones with the blinking yellow don't have to stop, left turns yield, and the cross street with the blinking red have to wait for it to be clear. I sat there at the blinking red for like 5 minutes before I could make my left turn 😭
