My 7 year old had a full on melt down, I mean SOBBING over the idea of death and dying. Out of nowhere just started sobbing saying she didn't want to die. This clarified alot! Thank you

My kid hates school. He is totally disinterested. Doesn't like to be challanged either. As soon as he faces frustration he gives up the thing that made him frustrated. If it's homework, he just wanders off in his thoughts. If it's some kind of craft or something, he just gives up and go do something else. If I suggest not to give up, and keep trying I'm faced with anger and whines. He is very affraid of faliure to the point he doesn't even wanna try to do something.

My 8 year old is still struggling with a lot of this! She often calls herself “so stupid” when she makes normal mistakes. Or any time we correct her behaviour it’s “oh I’m the worst” really tricky age.
