light application or azelic acid always gets mine before it gets bad. check your shampoo and conditioner for sulfates that’s what triggers mine! or fluoride toothpaste can as well!

Also putting some raw honey on the breakout spots as a soothing mask helps a TON, and I also took probiotics (to help w the gut bc that can make it flare up for me too)

I know it sounds crazy but I had a doctor tell me fluoride toothpaste could trigger perioral dermatitis, and I started using a fluoride free one and mine went away!
