At 46, I am returning to school after 23 years. I used Chat by uploading the syllabus for each of my courses and having it create an Excel spreadsheet that broke down assignments and due dates. It also helped identify key points and important information I needed to know. For those who found your video off-putting, I actually want to thank you for sharing it. While I am fully capable of building something like this on my own and using my own critical-thinking skills, using AI helped me manage my time and organize everything in one location rather than constantly jumping between saved documents, syllabi, and individual course content. For me, AI isn't replacing critical thinking—it's a tool that allows me to spend less time organizing information and more time actually learning and engaging with the course material.

In a masters program now and I will do this for assignments… it breaks it down for me and then I can tackle it instead of being stuck in overwhelmed land. 5 week classes so there’s no time to be stuck 😂

I use chat to create practice tests for me based on how the prof does their tests. Scenarios, essay etc. It’s a great tool. I also don’t wait until last minute to do my assignments. I’m a 50 year old college student and enjoying using technology to assist me … not do my work
