I was counting some oxy on the eyecon and the, oh I don’t know what it’s called so I’m calling it the door that lets the meds out into the vials, well I didn’t know that it was open a little bit. So when I dropped the med down into it, some dumped out. I found all I could and recounted them to make sure they were all there. One was missing. Looked everywhere. Maybe 10 minutes later I looked in my smock pocket and sure enough it had landed in there. I told my pharmacist thank goodness I didn’t go home with that in my pocket.

We found out this weird insurance rejection. While a doctor might be covered by medicaid for visits, if they write a prescription, they may not be covered by medicaid for prescriptions! So we have to have them send the prescription request to my pcp and have them call it in. My weight loss surgeon I can see in office no issue. But they wouldn’t cover a simple med written by him. My pcp had to call it in.

I actually had a patient tell me her doctor said he was going to report me for not getting to his voicemail fast enough. She was like “I don’t think you have any right to do that.” He ended up calling to make sure I received the voicemail but when he was on the phone he certainly didn’t say anything to me. Lucky for him because he would have gotten an ear fully

Yes, Metformin is disgusting but the one I hate the most is the divalproex that smells like white chocolate. I’m surprised there aren’t children being continually rushed to the hospital from taking it thinking it’s candy

Physical scripts where the doctor just signs and has no other indication of who it is. Called a clinic to find out who the prescriber was and the nurse goes “Written by… Oh. Whose signature looks like a stick figure dragging their a$$ on the ground!?!?” Had me dying😂🤣

we have this one brand of vitamin... I don't remember what it is besides a vitamin but as soon as a seal is busted on a new bottle 🤢 smells like someone crop dusted the entire store.
