bally sagoo was the one tho. he made bhangra into something new and punjabi mc took that up a notch. I reckon without Bally Sagoo there is no Punjabi MC cos Bally led the way....

I don't think there is any comparison bally sagoo was way ahead of time produced all sorts of music not just bhangra..and bally sagoo tracks are still going hard til this day.. There ain't nobody coming close to that guy.. Not forgetting his in the guiness book of records for the first Asian artist to have a full non English song in the UK top 40....dil cheez hit number 12 in the UK charts.. apache Indian entered the charts before him but apache was a reggae artist so his songs were only like 2% Indian and 98% patwa..so which makes bally sagoo the legend of all time
