I appreciate your Sharing this! My Mom was a great cook, but when I was young, she must have made some version of Depression Era Stroganoff. It has a buncha Ketchup & eesh! She eventually quit making it!

I always liked it but for me I lived in a small town where they had a knock off version called always save yellow boxes beef stroganoff. a powder packet, 1lb of beef and the box was just plain. my dad added pasta and potatoes to his. Not sure why. Anyhoo - stuff I remember when I was a kid in the 80s and 90s.
