I lost my partner of 26 years about 9 months ago and I feel lost. I have no community so I deal with this alone. Therapy doesn’t work because after the session I feel good, but then I’m alone going through this. I feel like I’m haunted by grief and don’t know how to live my life without her. Dating is fine, but when I’m listening to music, the tears come. I feel like being loved by someone who lost someone they romantically loved is the only person who could be my ideal mate because they understand. I feel like I’m not emotionally fit to love someone 100%. Just wanted to vent. I literally don’t know what to do with my life.

She's right. Losing someone was my rock bottom. Left me in a place to only lean on Him. And He answered me by blessing me in my life with blessings I didn't know I needed or deserved.

Pray God to deliver you from grief and brièvement . To give you strength and grace to accept the situation and to give you peace to and grace to heal. May God comfort you. Pray also for patience. Also consider going to therapy or talking to someone who understands what you are going through. A support group also can help, coz it helps to know that there others going through the same thing.
