Fair breakdown! Honestly even with the new spend ratio rules, getting 250 free pts a month on rent with $0 annual fee is still better than 0 points with my regular checking transfer

A big perk is BILT has lots of travel partners than most cards

Use the Bilt Cash option so you don't have to worry about hitting spending minimums

Im having so much trouble using Bilt and I can’t even get guidance since they don’t have a traditional customer service line

You just broke this down really well. Everybody else has been really confusing. I just got the card yesterday and was thinking the same thing. I’ll just use it for regular bills rather than rent.

makes total sense if amex plat is your primary driver. bilt still works pretty well as a backup card if you route a few recurring bills over to unlock the 0.5x or 0.75x bracket

There are still some really useful Bilt benefits despite the changes.

if you hit the 1x or 1.25x multiplier tier on bilt, do those rent points land right on rent day or do they drop after the statement closes with the rest of your everyday spend?
