When my son was about 5 or 6 months old I had a cat named Cinnamon. She adored him. i had to make sure she was out of his room at night or she'd jump in with him and try to clean him and rub against him all night long and keep him awake. She'd stay right outside of his door and as soon as he moved or made any noise she was at my feet biting me and trying to lead me to him. She had been a stray who the vet thought was 9 or 10 when she showed up at my house. She was his shadow until he was 7. She loved him so much.
