Don’t get sweet treat until you pass an assignment (85-100) and I say that I’m broke to myself even with 200 dollars in my account. It’s been working for 2 years straight.

if your school offers it with a dining plan you can actually use separate dining dollars for coffee/caffeine and other sorts of food and drinks, that helps wanting to go elsewhere for these items I also give myself a maximum that I'm allowed to spend and tracking it physically on paper works better than through my bank because I can see it more often. if I spend the max before the end of the month then oh well have to wait to anything else unless it's an essentials emergency or Drs. visit

Always have 100 in your account( if feasible) don’t let your account get below 100 always save that for essentials( gas, groceries ect)

have a savings and checking account, only have $150 in your checking account at the first of each month to spend. leave the rest in your savings and do not touch unless it’s absolutely necessary. honestly helped me sm with spending

never go below 100 dollars unless it’s rlly needed and keep 50 in cash. you don’t gotta eat out everyday, get frozen dinners, groceries to get you through the week .

Tbh every paycheck I set aside what I need for bills and just put the majority of what’s left in savings and usually keep $30-$50 for spending on fun things for the next two weeks

Keep a spare 20 in your wallet just in case. Limit yourself to 20-30 bucks a month. This helped me save A LOT

Set a minimum limit that you will let your account fall too. If you have a savings account and youre still having money come in, i would save the 100’s and the rest is spending so if your have $257, save 200, and you can spend 57.

Before you go back to school, make sure you have discussed your decision with a good mentor, not your family, a good mentor will help you visualize life 25 years from now

Payed my bills and then gave myself 50 bucks for the next 2 weeks. It was my job to see if I wanted Starbucks or food the next few days.

No coffees, no energy drinks, I make my coffee at HOME! So snack runs of fast food. I pack my lunch and snacks. Buy in bulk at Sam’s and my snacks last me awhileeee.

have cash app savings and round up savings when you spend on cashapp. Savings earn interest and if you work you can direct deposit onto your card and your savings. It's been so helpful for when things get tight
