"Hey Egg, why is the sea glowing?" Wemmbu asked absently. His gaze locked to the sea, marvelling at the beauty. The angel would know the answer. Between all those books, one of them had to be an encyclopedia about the sea and its mystery. But the angel didn't respond. "Eggchan?" Not a single hum, not even a nod. The beach felt empty, too quiet. Wemmbu could barely hear his breathing, as if— The demon's eyes widened in panic, "Egg…?" As if on cue, the angel's body fell limp on Wemmbu's arm, his long arms dangled off from where they used to settle on Wemmbu's shoulders. The demon had to balance himself to not fall from the sudden change. Mostly from surprise, rather than because of Egg's weight. No, instead, he felt too light. Since when has Egg been this thin?
