the mercy ring is true but there's one false, fire damage will kill it after 1hp because it counts as seperate damage

Lylleen Noct's ability is just a touch better on how much health is restored, spawns in the same location but only at night. the mercy hit ring does work while mounted but be cautious of using abilities that leave an effect like fire damage over time! the ticking damage will still kill the pal

another tip for lyleen, specifically for like in between raids, you can use her ability plop her into the palbox and immediately take her out and it resets the partner ability so you can use her ability again right away, useful for like I said raids if you do more than one back to back so you can keep healing your pals

a note on mercy hit... damage over time ticks (being on fire or poisoned etc) will bypass mercy hit and kill the Pal.

Anything that does tick damage will kill pal you want to catch. Mercy ring/pal perk doesn't matter

you can also just put lyleen in the box from your party then put her back in your party to reset the cooldown

I use the pal permadeath setting so I'm sol on that tip But I didn't know riding a pal let them mercy hit off of my ring I've been killed so many times by going pal free because I didn't want my murder horsey to annihilate everything this helps so much

When you use mercy ring + mount, make sure your attack doesn't cause burn bc you'll still kill it due to the burn tick damage 😅 Likely the same for poison and any other DMG over time status

Unless you use burn damage then it does die from burn

That final one does work, but make sure you’re not using an attack that does damage overtime like certain fire attacks because that can still kill it
