Fun fact: The A380’s wings were actually designed for the larger, heavier A380-900 variant. That’s why the wings on the current A380-800 look so massive for its weight, giving it incredible lift and stability during a go-around like this

I was once at Heathrow in that situation too and believe me as a passenger of such a big bird, you freak out especially when repush the plane up in the air. you look at the crew praying. the captain has no time gor explaining and comes the second landing attempt, you pray big time.
