The real Easter egg is they Introduced Jean DeWolf and if you collected Spider Man comics in the mid 80's specifically Peter Parker The Spectacular Spider Man series then you know what direction they are headed with this era. Just get ready for The most darkest gritty version of Spider Man to appear on film. They have endless amounts of material and what is considered the greatest storyline ever written is when they cross paths with the Sin Eater. I figured this out on the ending of No way home.

Actually, it’s explained that Ned was only capable of magic with the ring, and since they believed in magic, they were capable of doing it from the start unlike the Doctor Strange who didn’t believe in it and then whenever they started believing it, they finally got it. It’s explained that Ned just believed in magic and got a magic ring.
