It’s still not real meat though I’m young so I pretty much have a whole future ahead of me and 10 to 5 years isn’t a lot for me so it’s better to start boycotting stuff that isn’t real now because they won’t wanna sell it in the future

Honestly cannot wait for lab grown meat if it saves animal lives, full stop. If it's better for the environment also a win. Nobody is eating this for health, it's for sure for taste/cultural inclusion.

The idea that farm-raised meat is somehow superior to lab-grown meat makes no sense. Cultured meat is produced in a clean, controlled environment, whereas a single conventional hamburger patty often contains meat from hundreds of different factory-farmed animals. People rarely consider this reality or the risks of bioaccumulation in traditional livestock. When you factor in the ethical nightmares of factory farming and its massive contribution to pollution and climate change, lab-grown meat isn't just a viable alternative; it is clearly the better choice. I'll take lab-grown any day if we're an option.

cultivated meat utilizes fetal bovine serum! this is harvested at certain slaughter plants. LAB GROWN MEAT IS NOT A VEGAN FRIENDLY OPTION

I work in the biotech scale up industry. Last lab grown meat facility we did a feasibility study for required 2 trillion dollars a year in growth media. ROI was so far in the negative that they immediately cut and ran.
