Every swipe should be working for me. 2. Skip my employer match. That is free money sitting on the table and I refuse to leave it there. 3. Try to time the market. I set up automatic transfers and let it do its thing. Time in the market always wins. 4. Carry a credit card balance. High interest debt is not hot. I pay mine off in full every single month. 5. Buy everything brand new. Thrifting is my love language. Used cars, secondhand furniture, thrifted clothes — quality does not have to mean brand new. 6. Stay ignorant of my spending.
