He would tell me how much he loved me and how amazing of a mother I’d make and how he could see a future with me. He was my boyfriend. We did mutah together and then he left me after a month. I’m so sad and partially bc he didn’t take the mutah seriously it seems. Worst of all it leaves a bad taste in my mouth about Islam and that hurts. I don’t want it to affect that but it does. It makes me not want to continue exploring Islam. Why do some Muslim men do this? Did he not take me seriously from the jump like I don’t understand? Was the mutah just a means of being able to sleep with me? Why did it mean so little to u if u love ur religion. Ugh. I’m so sad guys. Someone pls give me Quran verses to get me through this rough time and pls make dua for me that I don’t let this get between me and Allah

He loved me for 5 years and promised me marriage, saying he would take care of me and that I didn’t need to work. I stayed beside him when he had nothing, supported him through his struggles, and never left his side. I gave him my love, loyalty, time, and everything I could. He used me financially and physically, yet I still believed his promises and trusted that he would marry me. Now that he is doing well, he chose another girl and left me like I meant nothing. I was there when he had nothing, and now I’m the one left broken, trying to move on from everything I believed we would have.
