I feel like a little scalping for a hobby is healthy, it creates a bit of fomo and makes drops and the hunt more exciting but too much scalping will ruin a hobby, eventually average collectors get priced out and ends up turning into scalpers just selling to other scalpers

Buddy, my LCS owner showed me why he had to raise the price of his packs from $5 to $6.50 per. His distribution raised the price (I seen the invoice) on him. MJ screwed everyone thats not a big store.

The problem behind scalping is the supply. If they blasted a set people would lose money and the secondary market prices would go down. Newer cards shouldn’t be expensive. Long term holds should be how money is made
