I’ve been in a workplace like this and it drains you in ways people don’t see. When communication is unclear and favoritism becomes normal it’s hard to feel motivated. You really start to understand how toxic it is when the rules only apply to certain people and what hurts the most is realizing that no matter how hard you work, your effort doesn’t matter as much as who you’re connected to. It slowly chips away at your confidence, your peace and even your willingness to show up. But going through it teaches you something important that your value doesn’t decrease just because a toxic environment fails to recognize it. Sometimes the best thing you can do is protect your energy and choose spaces where fairness and respect are not optional. its made me a angry person that I never wanted to be. I always wanted to be a kind heart but ive been turned to a cold person to work with that just wants to be left alone and let me work. Being a foreman makes me wish I could just go back to being the guy nobody needed anything from.

I am the first one at work I start at 530 and my lunch is at 930 and my last break at 1130 the 930 cashier comes in and goes to there first break at 1130 and I have to wait for her break time to end to get mine i think it should be the other way around
