they could’ve easily given us Aegon “what kind of brother steals his sister’s throne?” Targaryen. but they wrote him as a misogynistic serial SA’er. now they have to reap the consequences of the audience not giving af if he lives or dies.

While the crime itself is unforgivable it’s very realistic where not everyone who try’s to be better or redeem themselves has done “forgiveable” things, I don’t think the point is really liking Aegon as much as seeings that even the worst of the worst can improve when push comes to shove, I’d prefer that rather than him stay maniacally evil like Joffrey

You can only let a character being bad/evil to a certain point to make the redeemable. And they went overboard from the start. And by the point his character got more depth and became more layered and interesting, I was already way to turned off to be willing to evn try to like him. They fcked up

THEY COULD HAVE JUST MADE HIM A GOOD VILLAIN! So many characters in this show could have just been good bad guys. The first image you use in this video just makes him looks sinister. They really should have double down on making Aegon a fun antagonis.

I KNEW IT! I literally said Word for Word years ago that they were going to regret making Aegon a grapist as an introduction because it will always make a part of him dislikable for the rest of the show, especially in contrast to how they introduced Rhaenyra and now look where we are. I genuinely feel so vindicated rn
