Yeah but your example is flawed. Specifically with accounting. A software cannot sign off on an audit by virtue of its own existence. Look to how IFRS treats AINS for accounting. Someone still needs to sign off, because legally someone has to take responsibility. This has not been tested legally yet, so we don’t know that the efficacy can be valid. In this case, the outcomes are not validated and have an inherent risk. You mentioned that these services offer speed and cost savings, but those mean nothing if you fail the compliance tests. If you don’t see the chicken and egg aspect here, then I’m happy to chat more. Your flywheel is missing one “spoke” which is the actual objective: not if you use AI to increase margins, but can you also mitigate the legal liability and obligations as well. Accounting by definition requires accountability. I don’t necessarily disagree with you, but I don’t agree with you. My solution actually considers this aspect and does not depend on a specific flywheel. It’s actually is built by acknowledging that multiple flywheels create the gear box that will drive my business to not rely on masquerading. We are the Future of fintech, you know… Mask off.

Really not hating here, but if you guys as VCs and startup ecosystem didn’t mention so many buzzwords like flywheel, engine, moat etc. the whole startup thing would be way more enjoyable and true. Most of the times you don’t have a clue about what that engine actually needs to be hence why you are not specific. My comment isn’t targeted to you just wanted to put this out there because startups are a cringe fiesta these days
