Unfortunately for ndi iberibe. Ojukwu used his impeccable command of Queens English language to deceive them. Zik accurately described him as" Tyrant ". He made peaceful resolutions impossible because Gowon's emergence as HoS in August 1st 1966 effectively ended Ojukwu 's reason for joining the army (with Oxford University masters degree in History). If Eastern region had another Governor other than Ojukwu there would have been no war. The war was 100% avoidable.
