CGI and AI are 100% not the same. There are a lot of VFX in the film and VFX artists are already so devaluated. Good CG uses practical FX to inform the CG artistry, which is what Wicker is going. It’s a really important distinction, especially since good visual effects takes hours of artistic and technical labor to become invisible to the viewers.

For clarity, AI is generated by prompts pulling from existing medias, unable to fully create something original because the stylization of what it generates are based off of trends. CGI is a compilation of 3d modelling, video editing, photo manipulation. Humans using Digital tools to composite something unreal but still original. 2 completely different things. AI is lazy af, CGI takes hours and months of human work and talent
