heightism is so ingrained in everyone’s mind by default, and what’s even worse is it isnt as blatant as racism. to the casual eye they could point out “oh this person is treated that way because of their color!” but height discrimination would be the last thing someone could be self aware of

5’3” at 22, outright just rejected for being respectful, never once had them said anything nice, “you are not my type but you are nice to talk to . Even when you’re capable, height and looks is the ultimate deciding factor. Do not wish for anything real in this day and age. even women outside my own country still get rejection. My friends at 6’2” easy for them girls notice them, i look like a kid next to them. “The right one will find you and accept you” yeah even a nice girl switch up on me. Given up at this point and just live my life helping others instead. People who are taller don’t know and will never know that pain and struggle.

5'3 - 5'4, I had such confidence going into a relationship, but after a few months something changed, shes upset with my height and race, keeps telling me how weird we look from other's perspective, and that I'm ruining her social image just by being there, her family also doesn't like my appearance and they based their opinion on me before ever knowing me.

I'm 5'6, not only have I gotten rejected in similar manners to him, simply because of my height, but I've developed a sense where I can tell when a person is scanning my looks with curiosity, or disgust, a good chunk of girls look at me with pure disgust in their eyes, as if they wanted me dead
