Everyone blaming the dads in the comments is wild. Babies were INSIDE the mom for 9 months, theyre gonna prefer being held and comforted by her for a while after theyre out. Even more so if Theyre breastfed as moms smell like breast milk. And if the mom is a sahm then the baby is simply getting even more exposure to just her. These videos do not mean these dads aren’t doing their job properly or helping enough 😭

In the case of breastfed babies they associate mom with food, that’s why they tend to prefer mom cause it come with the added chance of a feast. Also they literally come from mom after 9 months and mom is the first to hold the baby most of the time, and babies do imprint like other baby animals. So mom is the imprint.
