I cant blame tagah to have a different perspective from Aang. When The massacre happen in the story of Tagah he was there watching his own teammates die while sonam was not there. Also with Aang. When the massacre happen to the story of ang he was not there thats why they didnt experience first hand what really happened. Surely there was difference between who experienced it and the one who escape from it. although we can say both thing happen to them but Aang didnt saw how they die firsthand
