You'd need to bring your plans to an architect/ structural engineer! Theyd advise firstly whats structurally do-able and then what'd look good.

it is an architect you need and possibly a structural engineer if you are changing load bearing walls. the architect is a mix of designer and engineer. enjoy

It’s sounds like a visualisation problem, that you need to see your idea before you decide. Ask your Architect for 3d visual mock up of your current plan and then make the change and get an idea if it looks right.

You’d be better speaking to an interior architect- they take into account your interior, as well as structural elements. Christine Brady is amazing - check her out & contact her. She made some changes to our plans that are amazing!!

Yeah I think an architect may be your best shout. I know your far off yet but I want to recommend SR Cabinetry for any bespoke furniture you want done such as kitchens/ media walls and wardrobes, his stuff is fantastic 😍
