Also leave the butter out of the fridge. Doesn’t go off and is always spreadable as the result. Been doing this for 30+ years btw, zero issues apart from summer when you have to rotate it in and out of the fridge so it doesn’t melt 👍🏼

Just buy a container like this and buy a block of butter and leave it in the cupboard, then it will spread no problem and it tastes better than the spreadable butters

You're missing the point. Real butter is not spreadable from the fridge. The two options you have to make it spreadable are warm it up (keep it out of the fridge), or add oil to it.
