I’ve seen a minimum of 3 African American actors play god in my life, and I cannot deny it just feels right~ I’ve seen Morgan Freeman play god, and if someone were to tell me he was the real god, I would believe them cause of the sound of his voice alone. Then Dennis Haysbert played god in the show, “Lucifer”, and the same thing, his voice feels like he could be god for real. In “Good Omens”, they have a female god and she was also African American, and despite the fact that she does not have the voice like Freeman or Haysbert, she had a presence to her that made me believe in the idea that someone like her could be god. God made us all in his image, therefore he is male and female, black, white, brown, gay and straight, etc.
