Brookies🍪🍫💌 ahhh we reached 100k!!🥹 thank you all so much for all the love🫶🏼🥰 Recipe: Ingredients Cookie Dough -2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour (270g) -1 tsp baking soda -1 1/2 tsp cornstarch -1/2 tsp salt -3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted and cooled(170g) -1/2 cup granulated sugar (100g) -2/3 cup light brown sugar, packed (142g) -1 egg + 1 egg yolk, room temperature -2 tsp vanilla -1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (170g) Brownie Batter -3/4 cup all-purpose flour(90g) -1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder (50g) -1/2 tsp salt -3/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and diced (170g) -2/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (113g) -1/2 cup granulated sugar (100g) -2/3 cup light brown sugar, packed (142g) -2 eggs + 1 egg yolk, room temperature -1 tsp vanilla Instructions For the cookie dough: 1. In a microwave-safe bowl add the butter and melt in the microwave in 20-second intervals until fully melted. Let it cool. 2. In a medium bowl combine flour, baking soda, cornstarch, and salt. Set aside. 3. In a large bowl beat the cooled melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar for about 2 minutes until light and resembles a paste. 4. Add the egg, egg yolk, and vanilla. Mix until combined. 5. Slowly add the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. 6. Fold in chocolate chips. Set aside. For the brownie batter: 1. In a medium bowl whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Set aside. 2. Add the butter and chocolate chips to a heat-proof bowl. Melt using a double boiler method or you can place in the microwave doing 20-second intervals, mixing in between, until fully melted. Set aside to cool. 3. In a large bowl beat the 2 eggs, egg yolk, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and frothy. 4. Add the melted chocolate and vanilla. Mix until combined. 5. Add the dry ingredients and fold in until just combined. For the assembly: 1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 10x10-inch square pan. 2. Add the brownie batter into the pan and spread it out evenly. 3. Place dollops of cookie dough all over. Press the cookie dough into the brownie batter but try to not cover all the brownie batter. 4. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes. Take off the aluminum foil and continue baking for another 15-20 minutes.
