I had a bunch of people ask how I made this fabric for my Belle cosplay (Which I still haven't finished buuuuut I hope my tears come in handy for you. Some important notes if you plan to make this: 1. You can't iron this fabric once the vinyl is on, the vinyl is essentially plastic and once its on, it'll warp its shape if you iron it and the adhesive backing makes it worse 2. Its essentially plastic, it will get hot so I don't really reccomend this for summer. 3. You can't put this through a washing machine. Hand spot cleaning with a cold cloth only. 4. You can use a straight stitch around the edges, I prefer the zigzag. You can't satin stitch this, each stitch makes a puncture in the vinyl and if they're too close together it'll just cut it. 5. You can't use pins to hold any of the pieces in place, it'll make holes that you can't get rid of 6. A heavy-weight interfacing will help keep the shapes flat 7. The smaller the pieces the greater degree of movement you will have 8. You need to sew these on top of your seams, sewing them into them doesn't work 9. This is a VERY long process 10.
