it's supposed to humble you on what is perceived to be "your expensive" product while showing them up to be smart and savvy! what it actaully does in my opinion is it tells me they werent my customer to start with, so I thank them,wish them well and keep it moving... it's never been that deep for me but for that person, there was always something to prove because somehow, they believed being expensive was the problem, I say nope! your issue is understanding value but I refuse to convince them or justify my standing! x

They actually prefer yours but want it for same cheaper prices as the one they settled for so they come back to make you feel bad about your prices. One customer once told me they prefer my cakes to another bakery’s but they’ll buy from me if I can reduce my prices to the price the bakery sells

I’ve also found that some of the so called cheaper businesses are simply not pricing right. When I finished uni, I worked in a retail company where the owner would guess the prices of items all the time. She could never find the receipts so we would literally guess prices 🤣over time people got to know that we were cheaper but it eventually backfired in her face
