False complaints over £10 or £20 are disgusting. Some customers are absolute scumbags, risking someone’s job just for a refund. It’s not worth ruining a person’s life over a cheap meal.

This needs to stop. 💔 I saw the story of a delivery driver who was falsely accused of not delivering an order that he had actually delivered. After losing access to the platform, he became so overwhelmed that he attempted to take his own life. Thankfully, he survived. 🙏🏽 Some people may think reporting “I never received my food” or “the ride never happened” is just a way to get something for free. But behind every delivery and every ride is a real person working hard to pay bills, support their family, and make an honest living. I’m also a delivery driver and rideshare driver. I know there are many honest customers, but there are also people who try to take advantage of drivers just to get free food or a free ride. That is unfair and can seriously hurt someone’s life and livelihood. Platforms also need to investigate carefully before deactivating or removing a driver. A single report should not automatically be treated as the truth. Drivers deserve the chance to explain what happened and provide their side of the story. No free meal and no free ride are worth someone losing their job, their reputation, or their peace of mind. Please have more awareness, respect, and compassion. ❤️🙏🏽
