i think they do not check on him because do not want to interrupt travel schedule and pure trust, but after this event besides passengers, airplane crews must also be check thoroughly and drug addiction scrrening on every crew for safety of all, human and machine.

As a foreigner in Malaysia, it’s scary to think about flying with Malaysia Airlines again. It’s alarming to hear that a pilot allegedly using drugs was able to get through the system.

As a Sabahan, I’m so angry. People like this are ruining the future of the next generation. If he managed to bring it into Sabah successfully, the authorities should investigate how it got through. That would mean someone there helped make it possible!

With only 2 stripes, he is a 2nd officer, sitting behind the pilot (4 stripes) and the first officer (3 stripes). One stripe is a cadet pilot.

I'm not surprised on how he managed to passed through klia coz security is so loose..I said this base on my own experience while waiting to be boarding I accidentally open the fire emergency door, the smell of that green leaves hit my nose and saw 1 guy wearing airport security blue uniform smoking it! On other occasion..this is right after mh 370 incident, while queuing at passport control counter, Japanese passenger ( husband and wife) infront of me said this to me.." do you want to see how bad is your airport security?" - his turn to do clearance-.. The immigration officer didn't even look at him, straight away stamped his passport no question ask and was let through. Behind the counter he was screaming at the officer while showing the passport and said " does this look anything like me???! (its his wife passport..husband and wife had exchanged passports minutes before for this test)

Definitely not his first rodeo, he already has small bottle of urine ready just in case he got caught. This is not his work alone, this lead one thing to another. Impossible to passed through custom checking. Need to check on ground staff too

Also they found drugs in his system, how come a pilot is not tested regularly for drugs by the airlines? It's a major risk for hundreds of lives
